General Purpose Solenoid Valves
Our cost efficient general purpose and stainless steel valves have added durability and quality to every type of application imaginable. Our line of solenoid valves include direct acting, piloted diaphragm, zero differential piloted diaphragm, balanced poppet, and piloted piston type valves
- Air Manifolds for Mini-Cylinders
- Air Controls in Office Equipment
- Water Shut-off
- Robotic Controls
- Ink Jet Printers
- Laser andWelding Equipment
- Floor Cleaning Equipment See Models
Multi-Purpose Solenoid Valves
Our multi-purpose solenoid valves come in various configurations, body materials, and line sizes. They range from subminiature, fast response versions tested to over 250 million cycles, to our one-inch balanced poppet, which permits very high pressure. Our "Floating Seal" design provides straight-through flow in a compact size. Latching solenoid versions are available.

PTFE Solenoid Valves
As an extension
of our "Dri-Solenoid" concept, Valcor has developed a complete line of
PTFE products, ranging from subminiature to 1-inch line size. These
include solenoid valves, check valves, regulators, air-operated valves,
and metering pumps.
Typical Applications:
- DNA/Protein Synthesizers
- Semiconductor Process Equipment
- Selection and Dispensing of Reagents in Analyzers
- Dispensing in Chemical Plating Equipment
- Vent Valves in Food Processing
- Pesticide Dispensing
- Other Biotechnology Applications
Cryogenic Solenoid Valves
Valcor is one of the largest producers of solenoid valves specifically designed for cryogenic
service. Valve designs incorporate engineered seals capable of
withstanding temperatures as low as -450°F. Configurations are low in mass
to minimize thermal loss. Free standing and manifold mounted versions are
available.
Typical Applications:
- Inlet Valves to LN2 Dewars
- Automatic Shut-off of Cryogenic Lines
- Low Temperature Chambers
- Laser Cooling
- NMR Magnet Cooling
- Thermal Analysis Equipment
Dri-Solenoid Valves
Valcor's "Dri-Solenoid"
valve design employs flexible diaphragms to isolate fluids from metal
operating parts. This ensures no metal-to-fluid contact. Ideal for
corrosive and high purity fluids, the valves resist abrasion,
contamination, corrosion, clogging and heat transference. Various
elastomeric seals are available. Pneumatic versions are available.
Typical Applications:
- Photographic Replenishing Systems
- Gas and Liquid Sampling in Process Analyzers
- Dialysate Circulation
- Water Treatment
- Agricultural Systems
- Beverage Dispensers
- Detergent Dispensing
Inert, Instrument Class Valves
With the SV27
Series, Valcor has introduced the first complete line of inert, solenoid
operated valves designed specifically for the scientific instrument
industry. They feature high performance and reliability. Small envelope
size and substantial energy savings (up to 30%) contribute significantly
to lower overall instrument size and cost.
Available in both 2-way normally closed and 3-way
Universal configurations, the SV27 Series can be used as individual
components or packaged in complete sub-systems, completely assembled,
system tested and ready for system integration. An exhaustive list of
plastics and elastomers are available to handle critical chemical
compatibility.
Typical Applications:
- Clinical Chemistry
- Analytical Chemistry
- Environmental Sampling
- Drug Sampling
